Hello everyone!
Here are the three things you need to know about the weather today:
- A TROPICAL DISTURBANCE will bring showers and thunderstorms to Southern Florida. This system is unlikely to develop into anything significant tropically speaking, but heavy rains are expected, and spotty flooding is possible due to the rainfall.
- ANOTHER COLD FRONT is driving east through the Great Lakes this morning. Out ahead of the front, scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across the Eastern Great Lakes this afternoon, but no severe weather is expected.
- AN UPPER LEVEL LOW continues to weaken over the Rockies. Some scattered showers and storms could pop up in the vicinity of this low, but nothing significant is expected to come of it.
Elsewhere across the US, generally quiet weather is expected today.
