More Quiet Weather Today
Hello everyone!
Another day of relatively quiet weather is expected for most of the country today. The Pacific storm that brought heavy rain and gusty winds to Washington state yesterday will move north today, and conditions will improve, though rain and mountain snow will continue, just at a much lower intensity than yesterday. Winds will also relax, and major power outage issues are not expected to continue into today, though it may take some time for crews to get everyone back online.
Here’s the national weather map for today that shows another day of relative quiet on the way. Parts of the Midwest will see some showers, as will parts of the Northeast as a weak low pressure system departs. Some of the high peaks of the Rockies will see snow today, but unless you’re travelling through some of the high passes, this snow won’t cause any impacts.
