Tropical Disturbance 91L To Bring Torrential Downpours To The South Over The Next Few Days

Hello everyone!
On Sunday, I talked about a tropical disturbance I was watching in the southern Gulf of Mexico. While that system never developed a coherent enough circulation to be designated a tropical cyclone, its main impact, flooding, is still very much on track. As the system slowly moves north today, it will join up with an upper level low over the Southwest. That low will help turn 91L’s impressive moisture plume into very heavy rainfall.
