More Quiet Weather Today
Hello everyone!
Today will feature more quiet weather as our tranquil weather pattern rolls along.
The national overview map for this afternoon shows amazingly little activity anywhere in the country. The remnants of a weak cold front will bring scattered showers to parts of the Southeast, and additional light precipitation is possible in Colorado as a very weak disturbance drifts through. The only precipitation of note will impact the far NW corner of the Pacific Northwest. Yet another Pacific storm will rumble into Canada today, and NW Washington will be the only part of the US close enough to that system to see steady rain and mountain snow. This system, just like the past several, will be fairly low impact, though watch for wintry driving conditions in the high passes of the Northern Cascades this afternoon if you’re headed that way.
Enjoy the quiet weather, its days are numbered!
