Quiet Weather Across The US Today
Hello everyone!
While recent days have seen Pacific storms bring rain and snow to parts of the West Coast, a break in the storm train will result in amazingly quiet weather reaching from coast to coast.
Any precipitation that falls today will be light and scattered in nature. Areas that might not stay completely dry include the Southern Mississippi valley as a weak upper level low fuels scattered showers in parts of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. A weak cold front will bring light rain and snow showers to interior parts of the Northeast, but no noteworthy impacts are expected from that system. A few light rain and snow showers are also possible in parts of the Pacific Northwest, but accumulations will be limited as the core of the Pacific moisture plume heads north into Canada.
Enjoy the quiet weather, it won’t last forever!
