Quiet Weather Continues Across The US Today
Hello everyone!
Today will be another quiet day in terms of weather across the US. Only a few areas are expecting precipitation of any sort today, as shown by this simulated radar forecast for this afternoon.
A Pacific storm will continue to bring light rain and snow to the Pacific Northwest, but impacts are expected to be minimal. Scattered showers will impact parts of North Dakota, the Mid Atlantic, and Florida, but none of these systems will bring much more than some wet roadways. No impactful snow, heavy rain, or severe weather is expected.
Breezy conditions will continue to make firefighting efforts difficult in California. Swiss Super HD forecasts show gusts up to 30 mph today near San Francisco. While certainly not ideal, these winds are a far cry from the 60-70 mph gusts that fanned flames earlier this week.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, it’s hard to see much of a change in the weather pattern. Mountain snow will likely expand in coverage as the Pacific system moves east, but significant impacts appear unlikely at this time. Elsewhere, as you can see above, things look quite calm.
